Real Estate Law
Real estate law is the body of law that governs the purchase, use, and sale of land. It is the law that governs how people acquire property and what they can do with their property. Real estate law is also referred to as real property law.
Real estate law is so named because it deals with real property. Personal property is objects, whereas real property is land. Fixtures that are permanently affixed to the land, such as buildings or other large structures, are also considered real property. Deeds, titles, purchase financing, zoning, taxes, and estate planning are all aspects of real estate law.
