I interviewed with an overseas company based In Germany. They work with a local recruitment company. Both parties had quoted a given salary range and this was confirmed during interviews and an induction session as well as a whatsaap message with one of their representative based in Kenya.
However, the sent a contract with a lower amount and negotiations proved futile as they claim the recruitment agency had falsely advertised the amounts.
What would be the best step to take. I feel the employer and recruiter are untrustworthy. I cannot however forego the contract since there had been a training contract language which will mean I compensate them about 7500 euros.
We are about 30 people in the mixup, 16 in the first group and 16 in the second.
