I have a question if hypothetically a friend ordered edibles online from a stranger for the first time but didn’t get the product delivered to them as the delivery man was apprehended, but the package stated the name and number of the person to receive the product, what charges is he liable to? And does it mean jail time for them, especially if they had never met the person selling the drugs how do they move forward with the case? Will the records always be public even if one gets an affidavit? Will they ever be able to get a good conduct certificate?

Also how exactly does the affidavit protect me? Does it mean that his case is closed/ sealed and can’t be unsealed?
